'Impossible' was the 2010 hit single released by Barbadian beauty Shontelle, taken from her second studio album No Gravity. Written by Arnthor Birgisson and Ina Wroldsen - who have penned hit singles for artists including Westlife, The Saturdays, Pussycat Dolls and Leona Lewis - 'Impossible' peaked at number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, number 9 in the UK charts and number 5 in Denmark!

The contemporary R&B ballad was transformed in 2012 by The X Factor UK winner James Arthur, who released his own version of 'Impossible' immediately after winning, which shot straight to number 1 in the UK charts!

Less than 24 hours after release, James Arthur's version sold more than 187,000 downloads, making him the fastest-selling X Factor winner in UK history - and with a portion of the profits being donated to the Together For Short Lives charity, there's no wonder the country backed this cheeky chappy to commercial success!
