For our 25th anniversary year we are proud to present a new 'best of' collection from the original Almighty group Obsession! Spanning over two decades of club classics and countless memories this two disc set features all of the disco troupe's biggest sellers from Almighty's first single release 'Never Ending Story' through 90's hits such as 'Suspicious Minds' and Almighty and Matt Pop remixes!

Disc one features five productions revisited from vocal recordings stored in the Almighty archives of Obsession projects that were never before finished. This includes Dusty Springfield covers 'Son Of A Preacher Man' (given the Essential dancefloor makeover) and 'I Close My Eyes And Count To Ten' (with a dramatic new Almighty production)! We've also enlisted everyone's favourite Dutch disco revivalist Matt Pop to provide irresistible takes on 'You Don't Have To Say You Love Me', 'Life On Mars' and 'Believe'. The latter breathes new life into this Cher anthem and is surely set to be a future classic with Almighty fans! Completing this disc are all of the biggest remixes from our successful Almighty Reload series including 'Love Insurance', recent single 'State Of The Nation', and Almighty Boys' mixes of 'Without You', 'Love Pains' and so much more!

Disc Two continues the magic with a retrospective look over Obsession's stunning Almighty career, comprising a full-to-capacity CD of classics handpicked by the Almighty team - there were certainly a few debates in the office with everyone fighting for their faves! Highlights include debut single 'Never Ending Story', the club-conquering 'In Private', and staff favourite 'Always On My Mind'! All tracks on this disc have been meticulously recompiled and remastered from the original sources for the best sound quality.

Disc three includes all the 12" mixes of tracks edited for the main album as well as another brand new Almighty Club mix of 'Son Of A Preacher Man' and the previously promo-only Jennifer Rush cover 'The Power Of Love'!

Obsession have always been fronted by a range of stunning voices, which are showcased across this album, including acclaimed studio singers Tracey Ackerman and Jill Saward, as well as Stock Aitken & Waterman collaborator Miriam Stockley and the original voice of Obsession Amanda Abbs!

Topped off with fantastic new comic book style art, and completed with a limited-edition third disc, from 1990 through to 2014 this is truly the Best Of Obsession!
